Mary Anne Baynes is the Chief Marketing Officer for Overleaf. With more than 20 years of experience in publishing, technical, and web-based services, she successfully runs global sales and marketing initiatives for Overleaf – developing strategic partnerships and processes with publishing, institutional and enterprise clients. Overleaf is an award winning academic authorship tool that allows seamless collaboration and effortless manuscript submission, all underpinned by cloud-technology. Mary Anne has previously worked developing global sales and marketing with Cenveo Publisher Services, The Charlesworth Group and American Journal Experts. Her high energy, positive outlook and publishing technology expertise result in an innate ability to customize creative, innovative solutions. Mary Anne is dedicated to expanding innovation in the scientific and publishing communities through amazing new technologies. She is currently a member of the Council of Science Editors (CSE) and the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) where she is also co-chair of the SSP Education Committee.
