Librarians at the European Southern Observatory and Space Telescope Science Institute will present ongoing projects to harvest and curate metadata about the astronomical data used in scholarly papers.  Efforts to develop processes to make data citation part of the scholarly publication process will be discussed.

She gets to support the people to manage the science operations of the Hubble Space Telescope and the upcoming James Webb Space Telescope. Recent projects include DOI for data, bibliometrics, finding expert knowledge, staff evaluations and the Unified Astronomy Thesaurus.
