Christa (Burns) Porter is the Library Development Consultant at the Nebraska Library Commission. She provides training and consultation to public libraries applying for E-rate funding, and coordinates, produces, and hosts the Commission's weekly webinar series, NCompass Live. She also provides academic library consulting; reviews and evaluates Library Improvement Grants, Strategic Plans, and Technology Plans; teaches basic skills training courses; and coordinates NebrasKard, Nebraska's statewide library card program.
